Rogue waves in (2+1)-dimensional three-wave resonant interactions

چکیده

Rogue waves in (2+1)-dimensional three-wave resonant interactions are studied by the bilinear KP-reduction method. General rogue arising from a constant background, lump-soliton background and dark-soliton have been derived, their dynamics illustrated. For fundamental line-shaped, multi-rogue exhibit multiple intersecting lines. Higher-order could also be but they parallel distinctive patterns due to interaction with lump soliton. intensity pattern feature half-line shapes or shapes, which very novel.

Rogue waves emerging from the resonant interaction of three waves.

We introduce a novel family of analytic solutions of the three-wave resonant interaction equations for the purpose of modeling unique events, i.e., "amplitude peaks" which are isolated in space and time. The description of these solutions is likely to be a crucial step in the understanding and forecasting of rogue waves in a variety of multicomponent wave dynamics, from oceanography to optics a...

Three-dimensional rogue waves in nonstationary parabolic potentials.

Using symmetry analysis we systematically present a higher-dimensional similarity transformation reducing the (3+1) -dimensional inhomogeneous nonlinear Schrödinger (NLS) equation with variable coefficients and parabolic potential to the (1+1) -dimensional NLS equation with constant coefficients. This transformation allows us to relate certain class of localized exact solutions of the (3+1) -di...

Three-Wave Interactions of Spin Waves

Spin waves are waves of dynamical magnetization which can be excited in ferromagnetic materials. These waves can be thought of as slow electromagnetic waves. However, electromagnetic waves in a vacuum are described completely by Maxwell’s equations, and spin waves are not. To describe the dynamics of spin waves, one needs to consider the Landau-Lifshitz equation in addition to Maxwell’s equatio...

Phase randomization of three-wave interactions in capillary waves.

We present new experimental results on the transition from coherent-phase to random-phase three-wave interactions in capillary waves under parametric excitation. Above the excitation threshold, coherent wave harmonics spectrally broaden. An increase in the pumping amplitude increases spectral widths of wave harmonics and eventually causes a strong decrease in the degree of the three-wave phase ...
